Libraries and the First Amendment was designed by the McCormick Freedom Project—the civics education division of the McCormick Foundation—in partnership with the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom.

  1. Challenging books
  2. Issues of access
  3. Protecting children
  4. Providing public meeting space
